QUALITY meat and even better service was key to Murrumbeena's Bush Butcher taking out the Leader Business Achiever Award in 2007.
As the 2008 awards roll around, Bush Butcher owner Andrew Bennett encouraged all Glen Eira and Port Phillip residents to nominate their favourite business.
"Everyone should join in," Mr Bennett said.
"It's good for the community and good for the shopping strip."

He said his Neerim Rd business had received "good feedback" from the awards and more shoppers to the store.
The business had been open almost four years and had built up a solid clientele, Mr Bennett said.
"Winning the award was good publicity for the business and for the street," he said.
"And you know what they say any publicity is good publicity."
He said he hoped the business would be nominated again this year.
