Working on Glen Huntly trams a family affair

SOME mothers may wonder what their daughters actually do at work, but tram driver Tumua Stanley has a fair idea what hers is up to.

Tram drivers Tumua and Belinda Stanley, based at Yarra Trams Glen Huntly depot, celebrated a very special Mother's Day.

Belinda's six-month-old twins Christian and Lucas made a visit to their mother's and grandmother's office the driver's cab of a tram.

Yarra Trams spokeswoman Katie Maynes said the company was proud to have multiple family members working on trams in Melbourne.

"Yarra Trams is a real family affair with not only a mother and daughter working for us, but also fathers and sons, husbands and wives and siblings and cousins," Ms Maynes said.

Yarra Trams handed out bouquets to all its women employees who worked on Mother's Day, May 11.
