ROAD users frustrated by congestion and bottlenecks now have a chance to highlight their problems through the RACV-Leader Community Newspapers Redspot Survey.
Figures from the 2006 survey show Caulfield and Port Phillip's worst redspots as voted by you were the railway crossing and intersection at Murrumbeena and Neerim roads, Murrumbeena, and the intersection at Bay and Liardet streets, Port Melbourne.
And it looks like the headaches will continue. To date there have been no improvements made at either location.
The same Murrumbeena intersection came up as the top redspot for Caulfield motorists in the 2004 survey, but Port Phillip's biggest concern four years ago was the jam at Punt Rd, between Toorak Rd and Union St.
The survey, held every two years, collects information about the congestion redspots around Melbourne.

The redspot can be an intersection, a rail crossing, a section of road or even a bus or tram stop.
But it will be an area, road or crossing that causes frustration and long delays for road users, whatever form of transport they use.
The 2006 survey, which prompted more than 6000 responses, generated $135 million from governments to fix the redspots.
RACV chief engineer traffic and transport Peter Daly said the survey was an opportunity for frustrated motorists and public transport users to be heard by government.
Recent RACV research showed that 89 per cent of people believed road congestion was worse than it was five years ago, and a further 85 per cent believe it will get worse.
"The Redspot Survey is the chance to have your say, knowing that your vote will count when it comes to getting improvements," Mr Daly said.
The 2008 survey runs until Friday, July 4. Results if the survey will be published in Leader newspapers and the RACV's RoyalAuto later this year.
